Working Committees

A. PRESIDENTIAL COMMISSION
Committee under this commission is:

A1. International Relations Committee
It shall be responsible for maintaining liaison between the Institute for Supply Management (ISM), the International Federation of Purchasing and Supply Management (IFPSM) and the International Trade Centre UNCTAD/WTO.

B. EXTERNAL AFFAIRS COMMISSION
It shall prepare and and submit for approval of the Board a comprehensive program of activities of the Association for the development and maintenance of mutually beneficial for working relationship between the Association and its members with all external public e.g. industry associations, government agencies, in the pursuit of the association's objectives and the member's professional well-being. Committees under this commission are:

B1. Meetings, Sports and Other Programs
It shall schedule and organize the regular general membership meetings, election, other special meetings and sports.

B2. Supplylink 1 and Supplylink 2
It shall schedule the annual conference of the association

C. PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION
It shall prepare and submit for approval of the Board a comprehensive program of activities of the association for effective development of knowledge and skills in the supply management professionalism in the general membership. Committee under this commission is:

C1. Professional Development (In-House)
The sub-committee for reviewing the contents, delivery of new modules and marketing of trainings.

D. INTERNAL AFFAIRS COMMISSION

It shall prepare and submit for approval of the Board a comprehensive program of activities of the association for the quality recruitment, effective retention, and strong fellowship of members in the national association as well as in provincial chapters. Committees under this commission are:

D1. Membership Standards Committee
It shall screen all applications for membership along the guidelines set by the committee, campaign for new membership from among the good cross section of private industry; service list of members in good standing and recommend necessary action on delinquent members.

D2. Chapter Relations
It shall be responsible for maintaining liaison between the national association and its chapters; coordinates the organization of new chapters, and recommend policies on chapter relations.

D3. Affiliate/IGF
It shall initiate affiliation with different industry association; to review the small group meetings through the industry group forum.


E. FINANCE COMMISSION
It shall prepare and submit for approval of the Board, systems and procedures geared toward the effective collection of dues and revenues, and exercise of control over the expenditures of PISM.

F. ADMINISTRATION COMMISSION
It shall prepare and submit for approval of the Board a comprehensive program of activities for the cost-efficient and result-effective administration of the association's secretariat, public relations. legal and audit requirements.

F1. Linkages/Marketing
To increase the visibility and awareness of PISM by developing marketing plans and developing relations with other institutions.
