Philippine Institute of Industrial Engineers

PISM and the Philippine Institute of Industrial Engineers establish a relationship where they shall combine their efforts, skills, technology, resources and knowledge for the purpose of exchanging information, data and similar matters towards the promotion of purchasing, supply chain management and industrial engineering practices and its complimentary applications.

It is envisioned that this alliance shall lay the foundation for the internal venue whereby the promotion of industrial engineering practices and competencies shall be pursued on collective and concerted efforts, form information exchange to advocacy in government policies, inter –agency thrusts and conventional norms.

People Management Association of the Philippines

PISM in partnership with the People Management Association of the Philippines (PMAP) offers the Human Side of Supply Chain Management Workshop. The program aimed to equip the participants with the Basic Human Resources (HR) skills needed in managing people.

The partnership aims to develop and deliver an Executive Development and Leadership Program for Purchasing and Supply Chain Practitioners with the objective of preparing mid-level Purchasing and Supply Chain Practitioners for senior or regional responsibilities. www.pmap.org.ph

Philippine Society of Mechanical Engineers

In October 2007, PISM signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Philippine Society of Mechanical Engineers (PSME) to jointly develop training programs and/or participate the exchange of programs and trainers, establish the guidelines on the selection and management of programs or courses that PISM can conduct for PSME, identify other areas of collaboration and partnership that would benefit the members of both institutions and pursue initiative citing both parties synergetic potentials with the end objective of utilizing the resources and expertise of the parties as a whole.
